1. Booking and Reservation

Reservation Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability. A confirmation will be provided upon successful reservation.
Advance Notice: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all bookings. Same-day bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

2. Rental Terms

When you rent a skip from us, you agree to the following terms:

Rental Period: The standard rental period is seven days. Extensions are available upon request and may incur additional fees.
Delivery and Collection: Delivery and collection of the skip will be scheduled based on availability. Customers are responsible for ensuring access to the delivery location.
Placement: Skips must be placed on stable, level ground. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the placement does not obstruct public pathways or create hazards.

3. Usage Guidelines

To ensure safety and compliance with local regulations, please adhere to the following usage guidelines:

Permissible Materials: Only dry, non-hazardous waste is allowed. Prohibited items include asbestos, chemicals, batteries, tires, and electrical appliances. Refer to our Prohibited Items List for more details.
Load Limits: Do not exceed the skip's capacity. Overloading can lead to additional charges or the need for a larger skip.
Prohibited Activities: The skip must not be used for the disposal of illegal or unauthorized materials. Any misuse may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and potential legal action.

4. Payment Terms

Our payment policies are designed to provide clarity and convenience:

Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and online payment systems. Payment is required at the time of booking.
Fees: Rental fees are based on skip size, rental duration, and additional services. Any extra charges incurred during the rental period will be communicated and must be settled before the skip is collected.
Late Payments: Late payments may result in additional fees and potential disruption of services until the outstanding amount is settled.

5. Liability and Insurance

Understanding liability and insurance is crucial for both parties:

Liability: We are not liable for any damage or injury resulting from the improper use or placement of the skip. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the skip is used safely and in compliance with all applicable laws.
Insurance: Customers are encouraged to have adequate insurance coverage for their property and any potential damages that may occur during the rental period.
Damage to Property: Any damage caused by the delivery or collection of the skip will be the responsibility of the customer. A damage deposit may be required prior to delivery.

6. Termination of Agreement

We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement under the following conditions:

Unsafe Conditions: If the placement of the skip poses a safety risk or violates local regulations, we may remove the skip and terminate the agreement.
Non-Payment: Failure to make timely payments may lead to termination of services and additional charges.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Edmonton.
